LUMINA™ uses information from a number of sources to develop a personalized chronic disease manager and preventive health alert system for the individual user. It begins with a brief online ‘health risk assessment’ which is later augmented with on going health care claims information. This process ensures that the program is always current and up to date.
Throughout the year the user is always able to access information in the system through a secure online employee portal. In this way, the ‘health risk assessment’ can always be updated.
As an added feature, LUMINA™ has the capability of sending information and alerts to the user via email and text messaging if the user so chooses.
